Director's Biography
N. C. RAJAN
NC Rajan was a Tamil film director who worked in both Tamil and Kannada cinema. He started his career as an assistant to the legendary director K. Subramanyam. He directed over 50 films in various genres, including social dramas, comedies, thrillers, and historical epics. Some of his notable films are MANAMAGAL (1951), THAAI MAGALUKKU KATTIYA THAALI (1959), THIRUDAN (1960), and IMMADI PULIKESHI (1967). He was known for his innovative use of cinematography, editing, and sound effects. He also introduced many new actors and technicians to the film industry.
