Director's Biography
QUENTIN DUPIEUX
Quentin Dupieux Born in Paris in 1974, discovered cinema at 18. As Mr. Oizo, he released the track FLAT BEAT and albums LIKE ANALOG WORMS ATTACK AND LAMBS ANGER. In 2007, he directed, shot, edited, and composed music for his first film, STEAK. Subsequent works include the absurdist horror film RUBBER (2010), the comedy WRONG, DEERSKIN (2019) with Jean Dujardin and Adèle Haenel, and MANDIBLES (2020). His films INCREDIBLE BUT TRUE (Berlinale 2022) and SMOKING CAUSES COUGHING (Cannes Film Festival 2022, Midnight Screening) showcase his unique cinematic style.
